Dyspepsia

Dyspepsia

Dyspepsia is a condition that causes pain and uncomfortable fullness in the upper part of the belly. There are many treatments which can be helpful for dyspepsia. No single therapy works in all patients with dyspepsia. It is common for patients to try several medications before finding one that works. If a person tries over the counter remedies and doesn’t improve or if they have worsening symptoms, vomiting, gastrointestinal bleeding or unexplained weight loss, they should have an informed discussion with their doctor to develop an effective treatment plan.
